I didn't take a chance on you.

Lately in some cards that I received, and also a few texts and emails, I have heard you say “Thanks for taking a chance on me” (all those years ago etc.)

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t really

take big “chances” in business relationships. Especially since I want to turn them into real, trusted friendships.

I always have a business plan, I have faith in my gut and my decisions, and my ability to pivot if I make a bad decision. Where there is faith and confidence, there is little risk.

That means I did not take a chance on you. I choose you. The team chose you. And do you know why? Because you are awesome. Because you create so much value. Because I could see your potential and your character and knew we would work great together. And I wanted to be your friend. Business with friends. There is no better way to live.

So, I wanted to thank you for accepting a

place in the family. I want you to know how much I appreciate your faith in the vision and for giving so many hours of your life to serving the patients we serve.

I never took a chance on you. We chose each other, and we are all better for it.
